Product type Based on product category

Hi All,

In SRM we have option to determine Product Type based on UOM...

But the problem is there are some UOM can be used for both product Type(Service/Goods)..

Which is causing inconsistency problem..

For example:

we are determining product category for PO line item based on GL account & deciding product type based on UOM

But teh problem is some time we may get Service Product category Based on GL account &Product type as "Goods":based on UOM..

So all i want to know is

is there anyway to decide/determine product type based on product category..
