Re: Unable to access catalog

Hi Sunil,

If it is specific to the user and not for all the users, then it must be a desktop/browser issue.

Please advise the user to create a shopping cart with OD punchout catalog in his/her colleague system where the other user is able to create the shopping cart with the same OD catalog without any issue.

With that, you will be able to confirm that it is a desktop/browser issue and not a User id/SRM settings issue. I have faced the similar kind of issue when the user logs in Citrix where they used to get this blank page. Finally the desktop team of that user has came to the rescue.

Please advise.

Transfer of Custom Fields from ECC PR to SRM SC in ECC EHP6

Hello Experts,

I need suggestions regarding transfer of custom fields from ECC PR to  SRM RFq vai SRM SC.

Before proceeding let me tell the scenario which we are working.

SRM System: SRM 702.

ECC System:   ECC6.0 EHP 7.

1) PR will be created ECC.

  1. Then user will use the “Create RFx” functionality of CPPR application, to create the saved RFx in ECC.

Now from configuration and functionally wise we are clear but I need some suggestion from technical point of view ie we have customer fields in EBAN(PR) structure and how can we map these to SRM side.

As we are already in EHP7 ,we are following the below settings.

http://help.sap.com/SCENARIOS_BUS2008/helpdata/EN/61/1775eecdd343c9b4c28db68d1d4bd8/content.htm

  • BAdI BBP_BADI_EXTREQ_OUT or user exit BBPK001 is no longer used in this case.

As middleware we are using SAP PI/XI.

Now we need to pass the customer fields to SRM from ECC PR.When I cross checked  SCN threads I understood that  with new release no need of BADI for mapping and fields will be mapped automatically.

Is my understanding is right?  for customer fields if we add in the EBAN (PR) structure  and with same name define in SRM ,then no need of mapping the fields using any BADI or spot?

If  my understanding is wrong can any one suggest me the BADI or steps involved in the mapping.

thanks and regards

CB

Good day Channappa,

1. If we create saved RFx from CPPR, it wont create SC in standard. Pls refer the below picture, number 1 & 2 will create the SC but no 3 will not create the SC.

Coming to Transfer the custom fields from PR to SC:

1. Create  RFC Functional module in ECC, input for the FM is PR number and output - Line item information along with custom fields value

2. Cal the FM in BAdi " /SAPSRM/ES_SOA_MAPPING", map ECC custom fields with SC Custom fields inside the BAdi.

Hope this will give solution on your requirement.

Hi Sunil,

Thanks for your update. From your explanation, I am able to understand that it is specific to user id and not the system.

Hence I suggest you to try the HTTP tracing. For the HTTP tracing, I use fiddler and it is a nice tool. If you have some other option, please do try that and and advise.

Bharathi

Hi Sunil,

How is the user in SRM system? Check for user consistency in SA38-BBP_CHECK_CONSISTENCY

or

Transaction BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE

Is user getting the blank page after shopping from every catalog? Check with other catalogs.

Hi Suman ,

In T code  SM 58 you will find the  Shopping cart items got  blocked, try to reprocess the blocked shopping cart, follow on documents will be created.

If you face still issue  execute txn SE37 and enter BBP_REQREQ_RESUBMIT and then execute. Enter the shopping cart number in REQNO field and then execute the Function Module.

I hope it will be help full for you.

Hi Balaji,

Thanks  a lot for you reply ,below is our scenario.

  1. ECC PR to SRM SC (only intermediate document with automatic processing to RfQ)  to  SRM RfQ..
  2. SRM supplier quotation à SRM central contract  to ECC central contract.

So as per this scenario  a SC will be created and when I cross checked found that it will be controlled by BADI. Reference Link : http://scn.sap.com/thread/3417013.

Can you please let me know how can we go ahead with this scenario?

Thanks and Regards

CCM 2.0 to MDM

Dear SRM experts , we are planning to migrate our old SRM 4.0 installation to SRM 7.0. We are using CCM 2.0 and we know that we have to migrate CCM master data to MDM.

The question is, what about transactional data (such us shopping carts, contracts, etc.) and their relation with ccm data? Do we need to do something special to maintain this relation?

best regards and thank you for your responses

Hi All,

Very strange Issue coming after creation of Shopping Cart.

The Shopping Cart is Sourcing Relevant(Souring Indicator is Active) but the Purchaser under the Purchasing Group does not finding the SC in his work list.

The Purchase Group is determined correctly and is set in Org Structure.

I also found that in the SC item level the Purchasing Group "Show Member" doesn't show any member and the table is blank.

Do anybody see any thing missing here

We are in SRM 7 Ehp 3

How can i use BAPI_SRM_DOC_GETLIST to get shopping card items/worklists

Hello,

I'll like to use BAPI_SRM_DOC_GETLIST to read shopping cart items for approver or/and requestor. I fail to use the correct RMS_ID, SPS_ID and the most important is which property_selections should be entered?

Is there an alternative BAPI for that? As requirements only BAPIs have to be used. I know the FM SWN_UWL_GET_WORKLIST returns exactly the results i need but it is unfortunately not a BAPI.

Hi Indu,

Can you check whether the SC status shown as "In Purchaser's Worklist", If yes then check Purchaser roles is correct or not (should be assigned purchaser role).

Make sure that Purchaser belongs to that Purchase Organisation and responsible Purchasing group as well.

SRM MDM catalog items not checking back to EBP ("500 Internal Server Error")

$

Hi All,

We are having an issue, ONLY with our PRODUCTION environment.

When we create a Shopping Cart and select items from an Internal catalogue, we cannot check the items back into SRM without the system throwing the "500 Internal Server Error" message. As the items never even reach SRM, there is nothing to check or display in the queues for anything even remotely helpful.

As mentioned above, the issue is only happening in our Production environment. We have tested using the production MDM webservice details in our PreProd environment and everything works flawlessly, so the issue very likely arises from our Production portal.

System info:

We have SRM 7.2; SRM MDM 3.0 and SAP Netweaver portal 7.1.

The users are using IE9 but the same happens on IE8 as well.

We have checked and all MDM applications are running.

We have done all the compatibility checks too given in https://scn.sap.com/thread/1075870  and https://scn.sap.com/thread/1836750.

I have attached the logs.

Nothing helped so far, so we are hoping maybe either of you can.

Thanks in advance,

Niki

Re: Perfect Commerce Catalog integration with SRM 7 via OCI

Hi Bharathi

What do you want to know?

SRM 7.0 is capable of allowing access to any catalog as long as the catalog conforms to the OCI 5.0 standards as defined in the specifications given already above by Laurent.

Jason

Hi,

To display the SC items that are sourcing relevant, Only the purchasing group is important. The buyer will find in his worklist the SC items assigned to his own purch group (from PPOMA_BBP).

Please ensure the below 3 points:

1. You can assign the User ID in the responsibility tab of the other P.Groups.

2. You can assign the User at P.Org level.

3. Also check the roles of the user in SU01.(Operational purchaser, strategic purchaser etc)

Abhi
